Building A Brave New World
In the world of music production there is a big shift in how music is perceived.
During the millennium we have heard many comings and goings of standards, trends and popular genres. The listening audience has been given an optimized ability to choose their music on a dynamic level. As the Internet expands we are doing more to communicate visually and share our experience with media to the world...literally. There are online cultures that rival our physical daily life culture. We are part of groups and communities that let us not be subjected to minimization of class, agendas, or even aesthetics. We are free in a digital world to select friends from all over the globe. The geek is now chic. The loser is now popular and everyone else can be whoever they want.
As S.L.G campaigns in an unorthodox manner, we also make sure we stay true to being ourselves.
It has become imperative for us to be the best at what we do. To not be what people expect.
S.L.G/Push The Envelope Productions is always clear with our agendas.
As we lightly observe what movement is out there, we have become more thoughtful about our approach to music production and the marketing promotion of it. So many want to do the same in a do it yourself time where many are just following because they have no clue of how to start with just being themselves and have that applied to their musical efforts.
Taking closer looks at titles, brands, merchandise, images, and web presence of others, no one wants to be absolutely original or unique. They are obvious components of emulation and imitation posed as new and original with the newcomer of creative ideas. Where some do more than be a fan, others want to become who they idolize and admire. Our music production conduct...if you may, is based on educational experience in the music industry, music education growth and development.
From rubbing shoulders with popular people in music to making self investment in opportunities to get exposure. We have hit some walls as a team and as individuals.
The point for S.L.G is to continue endeavors paid or broke. To go beyond the dedication and the passion flawlessly. To not lose purpose or have doubts in our profession.
Fourteen years of music in this millennium has been contorted and dumb down by what inter networking has evolved like, what mainstream music industry has programmed into music enthusiasts and lovers of the art.
What music artists do you know have the gusto and risk taking abilities to not be part of the circle, but take a step forward at improving and upgrading the machine everyone wants to be part of or destroy, but never think to create a resolution to the problem of the machine?
That's what S.L.G / Push The Envelope Productions is...a resolution to the inner workings of the machine.
Readers of this blog, this is a brave new world but people in the arts are posing as brave and are not. The funny things is, you know this and may or may not be a part of the perpetual motion of garbage art talent substituting as fine art. Just because the truly talented are unapologetic, rebellious and don't play nice with opportunists and controlling egotistical music heads and exec's, does not mean that you shouldn't be aware of them or not like what they do creatively.
That should be left up to your power of choice in selection; not determined by a person who 9 times out of 10 is not a lover of the art culture.
Further educate yourself on what interests you. Open up your consciousness by interacting with more mature based intellectual people and read quality materials.
Converse in a healthy manner about higher values in life. Communicate clean, bright thinking information that has maturity and sensibility. S.L.G respects the relationship between dark and light matter. Every piece of information can't be peaches & cream. That's why it's important that honesty and useful information be communicated without distortion. You are not getting that today.
It is not as important to be relative and factual in music as an art.
S.L.G / Push The Envelope Productions are doing music production and combining it with taking unique approach to visual art through creative work. We feel there are other things that can be done to the listening and viewing audience to gain there interest better in our specific objectives.
Sure we can shoot the HD slow motion video with great costumes and beautiful women, fine cars, elaborate luxury homes...but you get that.
We prefer to do what is not of standard video music production. It gives us an opportunity to explore something else entirely independent of mainstream media. As an independent ourselves, we should be doing something right with trying new things that are not common already.
In our journey we find more individuals do not care about much detail.
They (Music Industry minions, and other music industry agents) can do without certain descriptions, treat information as an instant coffee and even just hear certain keywords to gather a opinion.
That is not totally Human interaction. To excerpt and edit spoken information does not make you a coherent, comprehensive intellectual. Rather, it shows you have a remedial value for information dynamically and you could take it or leave it, unless it has a specific accountability for use and benefits you solely. If time and information is crucial to a person in how they determine whether or not your spoken information is valuable, should they not have greater skill at being able to know what your worth is and understand your goals of even speaking to them directly?
Understanding that a moment in time can be crucial in effect to regard what you want to express to an important figure...is not always as approachable. It comes down to who you know.
Who knows them" Who knows you? Knowing influential, affluent and respected people is necessary and half the battle, but it's not everything.
They have to be believers of your vision and be a consistent assist to that vision.

As we continue to be creatively productive, there are are so many projects we have created and executed well. In our opinion, of course we like all of our efforts. What we will critique, we make no excuses for. We just go to the next project with another goal in mind. We don't exactly go to this in thought to make fans. Our thing is to build listeners who can believe in our growth and in return we grow, evolve and give the listener a better reason to see what it is their future purchase of our music will be valued as to them. Collectible, Trade, Barter, and even return investment into a project would be a little more rewarding than whats given as incentives from crowd funding.
It would be a lot more useful to a collector, enthusiast and listener of our music.
As we are working on merchandise, fashion, accessories, apps, tech gadgetry and much more; we create these things to literally represent and apply our: "Beats. Music. Life..." ideology.
Imagine, instead of just being a fan, groupie or a follower...You are what you listen to and can faithfully support what you know. Truly belonging to something that doesn't control your freedom to explore, but exonerates it. S.L.G will be giving you a boost in your confidence and self esteem because you feel good when you dress good. When a brand is your brand and represents your way,
your thinking...There is no need to be a sheep when you can be an ambassador of your own culture and not be put into a box with all the other flip flop mentalist.
Your music choice is automatically diverse and for the better of progression and uniqueness.
It only has to matter to you what you listen to and how you chose to live.

A.D.D, A.D.H.D and other so called "disorders" like it, are actually a result of having not practiced or trained self control and self-discipline. Being under motivated, having low morale, not meditating and being impatient, leaves holes in the Human build for weak fillers and destructive behavior.
It's funny how people that so called "suffer through this" are able to deliver undivided attention when listening to music, gaming and having sex.
No disrespect nor giving offense to people who are diagnosed with this so called disorder, but when did attitude and behavior had to be medicated because you couldn't do anything about it yourself without medication? It happened when you said to the doctor: "I can't help myself..."
Then the doctor said: "I'll prescribe you something". Then you take it. It seems it works.
You come back for refills. The problem didn't stop. No cure. Just dependency.
This statement is made by us because the idea of promoting music and visual art currently, is that there is this climate of A.D.D and A.D.H.D that has to be put into consideration in order for you to creatively create something entertaining to keep an audience attention for less than 2 minutes.
People are even using the so called disorder as an excuse to why they can not pay attention and as well to why they lose interest. Those who claim to clinically have been diagnosed with these disorders are working hard at overcoming them because medically it does show heavy signs of limitations and impedance to a basic academic ability in activity with the brain.
When looking at brain activity while viewing pornography, violence and domestic pictures/video that exude and share moments of sentiment...researchers see the readings shows large areas of the brain activity at work from audio and visual communication. This test is done at different time rates and speed. The subject recognizes either in separate presentation.
If the subject is not showing high readings of reaction to these visuals, they may quite possibly show brain activity to something more unique or more extreme than averaged tested subjects in the same testing for different periods of time.
